Beth,
As soon as I read your com...Trying again...

Beth,

As soon as I read your comment I remembered a girl I met a couple of years ago who was graduating with our County Wide Homeschool Organization. I remember being so impressed that she was already a certified Nurse's Aide at a local nursing home and LOVED it!

Homeschooling usually offers MORE opportunity for starting on dreams and goals, not less.

Maybe there is a retirement community nearby that Jennie could work at and begin the process of getting certified....
or if it is not at a nursing home, a job at a hospital would give her a lot of practical experience and knowledge that would be so valuable in the future.

Keep your chin up!
I think you are amazing!!

Praying for wisdom for all of you.

Becky K.Becky K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10531485758141842829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614582079214765727.post-28099833375529525512010-04-28T08:16:12.582-04:002010-04-28T08:16:12.582-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Becky K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10531485758141842829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614582079214765727.post-68915531751948647932010-04-28T08:09:55.740-04:002010-04-28T08:09:55.740-04:00That is a very nice article!
Sometimes I DO feel ...That is a very nice article!
Sometimes I DO feel discouraged.
My daughter Jennie wants to go back to public school and is determined to talk my younger daughter in to it as well. I don't want either of them to go back.
I don't feel like it is really up to them to decide but at 17, Jennie has certain plans for her future (which include classes that homeschool can't offer to become a nursing aide) that I feel I at least need to listen to.
Sometimes I just want to throw up my hands and say, "What am I doing this for, anyway? I feel so unappreciated!!"
Thanks for this post!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507427205366570463noreply@blogger.com
